It's the feeling of arriving at the beach and knowing you've finally exhaled. It's flip-flops by the door, sandy toes, cold drinks, seafood dinners, family vacations, girls' weekends, sunset walks, and memories made around the water. For visitors, Navarre becomes a favorite vacation memory. For locals, it's home. My gifts are inspired by both. I curate thoughtful gift baskets that capture a little of what makes Navarre special...coastal charm, local flavor, relaxation, sunshine, and the unmistakable feeling of being at the beach.

What I want to make different about The Navarre Gift Company is that I'm not simply putting together gift baskets, I'm creating an experience and a connection to Navarre. I want each gift to feel thoughtful, personal and distinctly local. Rather than filling baskets with generic beach souvenirs that could come from anywhere in Florida, I want to curate products that help tell the story of Navarre and the Emerald Coast. Because I’ve traveled extensively and have personally loved receiving welcome gifts, discovering local products while traveling, and giving meaningful goodbye gifts, I understand the emotion behind these kinds of gifts. I want to bring that same feeling to our customers.

I’m a retired Air Force veteran, and throughout my career I moved around quite a bit and had the opportunity to live in and experience different places. I’ve always loved traveling, and one of my favorite things to do when I travel is find a local gift basket or something that captures the character and flavor of the place I’m visiting. There’s something special about bringing a little piece of a destination home with you. I’ve also experienced the other side of gifting. Throughout my military career and the many moves that came with it, I’ve loved receiving welcome gifts when arriving somewhere new. I’ve also really enjoyed giving thoughtful parting gifts when leaving a place or saying goodbye to people who had become important to me. Those experiences are a big part of what inspired this business. Now that I’m retired, I wanted to create something that combines two things I love—travel and thoughtful gift-giving—with the place I’m fortunate enough to call home: Navarre, Florida. I want The Navarre Gift Company to help people capture that feeling—whether it’s welcoming someone to Navarre, celebrating a special occasion, thanking someone, saying goodbye, or simply sending someone a little piece of a place they love. I especially want the business to feel local, personal and thoughtful rather than like a traditional souvenir shop. The goal is to curate beautiful gifts that tell a little story about Navarre and the Gulf Coast.

I've never been fond of salespeople. I hate the idea of marketing myself, of putting myself out there. Yikes!
